Ambiya, was born under Project SWAVLAMBHAN under the auspices of SIDBI. The program aimed at cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit in these women and help build their courage to become economically independent entities, not just empowering them but elevating their aspirations for their families.

In the heart of Mandawli, an urban village tucked away in the bustling city of Delhi, there existsa treasure trove of flavors and stories. This inspired the conception of Ambiya, a delightful range of Indian savories and sweets, each crafted with a meticulous touch that bore the essence of tradition and the resilience of the marginalized women who brought them to life.

 

The products of Ambiya are more than just culinary delights, the snacks are not just a feast for the taste buds but a testament to the hard work and dedication of the women who crafted them. ​As word of Ambiya’s creations spread beyond the confines of Mandawali, so too do the stories of the women behind them.
